The 17-acre Myriad Botanical Gardens feature more than 1,000 species of plants inside the Crystal Bridge Conservatory, including exotic plants in the Tropical Rain Forest Zone from Amazonia, Central Africa and Southeast Asia. The gardens are located in the heart of downtown, within walking distance west of Bricktown Ballpark. The indoor flower garden has the largest Amorphophallus titanum ("corpse flower") in the world, at 42 inches; the flowering of this plant has happened less than ten times since 2005.
